I was inspired by a lot of Terence McKenna’s work. Here is a quote of his: “You have to take seriously the notion that understanding the universe is your responsibility, because the only understanding of the universe that will be useful to you is your own understanding.”
Terence McKenna had a lot of great ideas about the universe and theories on life. Some of them were a little far-fetched and hard to buy into. At the end of the day though, he had the ability to think outside of the box. That is what I think is the important thing. If you have the ability to logically think outside of the norm and present new, relevant ideas to the world, then you will have my attention. I recently read his book Food of the Gods. I am going to do a more in depth review of the book in the future but if you are interested in reading it before then here is a link to find it.
